   Ken and Martha Cook
(Mini-Retreat:  “Filling Your Toolbox”)

The Cooks have been married for 50 years and have been involved in marriage enrichment at least half of that time. They are a Certified Trainer Couple for the Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment (ACME) and serve on the National Training and Certification Committee.  They have led numerous retreats, workshops, and leadership training workshops.  The Cooks believe in working toward a better and more rewarding marriage, beginning with their own. 

Bill and Jean Cooley
(Workshop B:  “When Blueprints Clash:  Creative Conflict Resolution”)

The Cooleys have been married for 38 years and members of ACME for almost 30 years.  They became certified ACME leaders 20 years ago and have enjoyed leading retreats, workshops, and Marriage Enrichment Groups (MEGs).  Their two sons are grown and have benefited from their parents’ marriage enrichment.  Bill and Jean are both Presbyterian ministers co-pastoring in one church in Lakeland where they practice good communication and conflict management skills every day.
 

Kenneth and Nellie Dean
(Optional Sunday Worship:  “Spiritual Intimacy:  The Pinnacle of Couple Closeness”)

Kenneth and Nellie Dean have been involved in marriage enrichment for 34 years, have led numerous retreats, and have been the president-couple of ACME in Iowa, Indiana, and Florida.  They have also served as members of the national board of ACME and are presently facilitators of a MEG that meets in Seminole.  Kenneth is a retired minister and Nellie is a retired executive secretary. 

Roberta and Terry Heinlein
(Workshop A:  “That’s Not What I Said!”)

The Heinleins, of Marietta, GA, have been married for 34 years and members of ACME for 17 years. Roberta is a technical writer for The Home Depot and Terry is a trainer for the Department of Family and Children Services. They are a trained leader couple and enjoy currently serving on the National and Georgia ACME Boards. They have attended two Florida conferences. Roberta and Terry have three sons; two of them married, and are expecting their first grandchild by conference time.
 

Priscilla Hunt and Greg Hunt, PhD
(Keynote Address  1:  “Marriage Under Construction:  A Skilled Labor of Love” 
and  Keynote Address 2:  “Building a Five Star Marriage:  Turning a House into a Home” )

The Hunts bring thirty years of personal commitment, training, and experience to equipping couples to build better marriages, beginning with their own.  They are certified leaders and Specialists in Marriage Enrichment with ACME, certified trainers for Couple Communication, Core Communication and Collaborative Team Skills, certified counselors and Seminar Directors for PREPARE/ENRICH and certified Marriage Mentor Trainers.  The Hunts have led numerous marriage events, conferences, and workshops on topics that include sexuality, spirituality, family of origin issues and keeping the romance alive. Their presentation style is warm, self-disclosing, fun, energetic, and creative.  They are currently serving as coordinators for "Happily Ever After", the International Marriage Enrichment Celebration which will be held in Orlando, FL in 2007.  

Charlie and Debbie Parsons
(Friday In-Service: “Reconnecting Leaders”)

The Parsons have been in marriage enrichment over 20 years.  They have had advanced leadership training and have recently completed training for the Prepare/Enrich/Marriage Mentor Program. They have served as FL ACME President Couple twice and are currently the President Elect Couple.  They are the leaders of their local MEG in Tampa and have two adult daughters. 

Al and Carole Pugsley
(Workshop A: “Affirmation:  The Building Tool”)

The Pugsleys have been a trained ACME leader couple for about 27 years.  Former members of the ACME Board and two-time winners of ACME’s Distinguished Service Award, they now serve as coordinators of Leader In-Service Training nationwide and as ACME’s traveling “Ambassadors,” presenting educational programs around the country for improving relationships.  They have facilitated more than 60 Marriage Enrichment retreats and a variety of other events.  They are editors of Marriage Matters, the Heart of America ACME newsletter, as well as the Leaders’ Forum, a newsletter for ACME leaders worldwide.  They live in Prairie Village, Kansas, have been married since 1962, and have two grown daughters and one granddaughter.
